Working as the HR Operations Manager for this unique, highly regarded provider of HR, legal and procedural advice and support, this varied and diverse role will suit those who like to get to the heart and soul of recruitment and employment legislation.  Working in a smaller office, but with frequent visits to our customers at their own premises, you will be key to providing guidance and support in regards to the introduction of new legislation and ways of working as well as training our clients in the implementation of best practice, policies and procedures.


HR Consultancy – to provide HR support services to our members and clients including email and telephone queries, preparation of guidance briefs and newsletters, research, development and provision of HR support services;  provision of HR, ethical trade and labour standards consultancy

HR Management  (in house) – line management responsibility for our office staff and coordinate internal HR procedures, recruitment, staff training and performance management

Training Management – to develop and manage our training workshop offerings to our clients

Client & Member Development – to work with the rest of the team in order to find new ways to develop and implement strategies to increase client engagement and membership

Service Partner Relations – assist with the growth of the service partner base and maintain relationships with and monitor performance of those we engage and recommend

Customer Service – develop and implement processes to ensure delivery of excellent customer service to our clients

Special Projects – to undertake projects are may arise from time to time

Skills & Experience:

  • CIPD

  • Relevant HR experience, likely to have been in large scale HR or recruitment, manufacturing, logistics, larger retail or perhaps even the grocery sector

  • Ability to ‘connect’ and share information

  • Happy to engage with high profile businesses and industry professionals

  • Happy to travel when visiting our customers – occasional overnight stays required

Salary - £35-40k basic – negotiable dependent upon experience (OTE of £50k on the basis of further bonuses paid on completion of consultancy support to our customers); 22 days leave + 8 statutory holidays; working hours between 8.30am and 5pm (1 hour for lunch)
