A well established and growing residential construction and landscape contractor working mainly in the Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire areas now seeks to appoint an additional experienced Site Manager / Foreman to join this exceptional business. Specialising in residential small building works, including refurbishment, new builds and extensions, repairs and maintenance, our many satisfied customers are proof of our ability to deliver. Salary: Around £42,000 per annum + employee benefits (salary negotiable dependant upon experience)
Oversee projects with responsibility for Health & Safety
Supervise workforce (subcontractors and directly employed)
Manage the works on site, ensuring that programme deadlines are met and the projects are delivered successfully
Ordering of materials, equipment and small items of plant
As the company site representative, ensure a positive company image is portrayed at all times
Background in building and construction, skilled builder by trade
Experienced in small to medium size building works around £100-250K+ in value
Strong leadership and motivational skills to ensure that objectives are achieved
Ambitious, happy to ‘get stuck in’ as part of a growing business where you will play a pivotal role
Flexibility is required, some evening and/or weekend working may be required to carry out the work (time off in lieu provided in return)
Full UK driving licence
